Ferro4EdgeAI publishes its first project newsletter

Ferro4EdgeAI has released its first newsletter, covering the project's goals and early technical results. The Horizon Europe-funded project aims to develop ferroelectric-based, computation-in-memory hardware for edge AI, targeting a 1000x to 2500x energy-efficiency gain over cloud-based CMOS accelerators.

This first issue introduces the project's holistic design-space-exploration approach, presents early results on FeMFET crossbar arrays and bitcell reliability, and highlights upcoming project appearances at NEWCAS 2026 and the E-MRS Fall Meeting symposium on ferroelectric materials and devices in Warsaw.
