Great plenary meeting of Ferro4EdgeAI in Zurich hosted by SynSense in Oerlikon on 12th-13th January.
The meetings took place in the ETH AI building at Oerlikon. There were fruitful discussions and constructive input from the Ferro4EdgeAI advisory board (from IMEC, GeorgiaTech, Univ Ghent, Bosch and Univ Notre Dame).
On the second day we had the great pleasure to welcome Malika Payvand who gave an overview seminar of her laboratories research into neuromorphic technologies. We also had a fascinating visit to the SynSense/Inivation premises which gave more insights into the range of edge imaging systems available from the very first products to the last event counting cameras, including Dynamic Vision Sensor (DVS) transmitting binary pixel-level change events, at microsecond time resolution.
And on the Monday evening all of the 22 participants enjoyed an atmospheric meal at the zum Königstuhl restaurant in Old Town of Zurich.
Thanks again to Bojun, Mina, Gabriella, Arslan and Karla for the organization.
