Welcome Surendra Hemaram to TU Delft

We are pleased to welcome Surendra Hemaram as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Quantum and Computer Engineering at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), the Netherlands. He joined the department in January 2026.

Surendra received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany, where he conducted his doctoral research from 2021 to 2025. His Ph.D. work focused on developing low-overhead fault-tolerant techniques for emerging memory technologies and AI hardware accelerators.

Prior to that, he earned his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur, India, between 2019 and 2021.

Surendra has published his work in leading international conferences and journals. His research was recognized with the Best Paper Award at the IEEE VLSI Test Symposium (VTS) 2025. His current research interests include fault-tolerant computing, reliability of emerging memory technologies, and AI hardware accelerators.

We look forward to his contributions to the Ferro4EdgeAI project and the broader research community at TU Delft.
